Andrew Sparrow
Andrew Sparrow Director of Placemaking

Andrew leads the delivery of Activate’s placemaking services, shaping strategic place led approaches that enhance customer experience and support the commercial performance of retail, leisure and mixed use property assets. Working closely with clients and internal teams, he ensures placemaking is fully integrated with asset management and wider commercial objectives. An experienced placemaking consultant, Andrew advises landlords, asset managers and developers on attracting and retaining customers, unlocking asset value and repositioning destinations for long-term success.

Emma Henson
Emma Henson Place Marketing Manager

Having spent the past 10 years working in marketing within retail property and hospitality, Emma leads Activate’s Destination Marketing team, overseeing service delivery to support our clients’ destination marketing objectives, across offices and business parks, as well as retail and leisure spaces.

Amy Young
Amy Young Senior Account Manager

Amy’s experience includes account management of shopping centres and outlet scheme clients across the UK, having worked in the retail sector for ten years. Amy creates partnerships with on-site teams that enhance the offering and showcase the multi-channel Activate approach.

Leonie Kirkham
Leonie Kirkham Account Manager

Previously a social media analyst and responsible for numerous paid media campaigns across various social channels, Leonie joined the Activate team in 2021 and delivers the digital content for retail and commercial schemes. Leonie also assists with the implementation of on-site activity, working with centre managers to create a calendar of exciting events and enlivenment.

Beth Hudson
Beth Hudson Account Manager

Beth leads multi-channel strategies, focusing on social media, email campaigns, print advertising and trade show management. Beth works closely on our retail and commercial schemes to develop their social media strategies, strengthen website presence, and elevate onsite events programmes.

Max Chester

Max is an experienced marketing professional, previously holding roles in-house and agency, with a strong track record of delivering impactful campaigns that create thriving retail and mixed-use destinations. With experience across retail, leisure and placemaking projects, he works with our clients to deliver engaging strategies that connect with local audiences to drive footfall and engagement.

With over six years of experience across agency and brand-side roles, Claudia has led social, digital, placemaking and influencer campaigns.

Ryan Lawson
Ryan Lawson Marketing Assistant

Over the past two years, Ryan has built strong experience in social media marketing, working with high-profile B2B and B2C clients in both commercial and industrial spaces. With an honours degree in Graphic Design from Norwich University of the Arts, he combines creativity with real passion in his work.

Hannah is a social and digital marketer with experience managing social media, website content, and email marketing for brands including ICYMI Clothing and CKE Law. Skilled in maintaining brand voice and consistency across channels, while driving engagement and delivering cohesive digital communications.

Kaitlyn Orge
Kaitlyn Orge Marketing Assistant

Kaitlyn is originally from Toronto, where she graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in Environmental Studies. Here she developed a strong foundation in persuasive writing, audience research, and targeted messaging—skills that naturally led her into the field of marketing. She later completed a copywriting certificate at the University of Toronto, further strengthening her ability to craft compelling, audience-focused content.

Macy Lancaster
Macy Lancaster Content Creator Apprentice

Macy studied Music Production at university and discovered a passion for digital marketing and content creation through the music industry. Now doing a content creation apprenticeship, Macy is getting hands on with content planning across channels and social media strategy.
